Don't you hate it when you find a great forum, site, or product, and then can't remember what your login or password was? If you're like me, you've got identities at hundreds of sites, some of which I love to visit, and some I only visit when I need 'em. Problem is, I'm constantly having to request my password, or a new password, or a reminder for my username. Now I don't have to go thru that whole process anymore. I have all the data I use online stored in organized databases named things like "affiliate programs", "my sites" "forums" etc. There are so many helpful applications for this handy little program, it is worth the price simply for the functionality. Only now, the price is even better. Detlev Reimer, the guy behind the program, has decided to give the it away for free. It's been marketed to the "Make Money on the Internet" people for quite a while now, but the functionality makes Promo Buddy a useful tool for anyone who spends considerable time using the internet and its various resources. Writers can find their research sites quickly and easily. Students can keep track of useful resources. Website designers can keep track of their resources. People with varied interests can keep track of those interests, and the important information that is invariably required. The search function helps to find the information quickly, so you don't lose the information you organized in a maze of other information you organized. Many of the databases are useless if you're not an internet marketer, but the "create custom database" function allows you to add info not already included. The size of the program is a little on the large side, but I've found that all my "lists" can be combined into the program, and I gain that much space back. Based on the FileMaker Pro runtime environment, it's not the prettiest program. Your inner interior decorator may be offended at the grey background and flourescent colored buttons, but the closet organizer in you will be very pleased with the functionality and ease of use.
