I have been a science fiction fan ever since the movie Star Wars came out. I have also been a fan of Kevin Spacey since the movie seeing the Usual Suspects. So when I heard about the Sci-Fi movie K-Pax starring Spacey I knew I had to watch it.

It turns out that the movie K-Pax was based on the novel by Genre Brewer. The story is about an alien named Prot who travels time and space.

Self help audiobooks come in several categories including creativity, health and fitness, interpersonal skills, motivation, personal growth, sex and relationships, stress management, success, time management, and religious titles.

How are we as Christians supposed to look at alcohol today, in our time and culture?

Nowhere in the Bible is it taught that drinking wine or alcohol is a sin. It is, however, taught that drinking too much alcohol IS a sin.

I am not going to lecture you about drinking. But I am going to say this: In our society, there are few problems worse than alcohol abuse.

Much of the religions system of today, call it what you will - New Age, cults, modernism, liberation theology, relativism, whatever - but much of what even passes for religion today is false religion.

There are many, many pastors in mainstream Christian denominations that say Jesus is just ONE WAY of getting to heaven, that maybe there was no such thing as the virgin birth, that social action is more important that personal evangelism, that homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle, that the Bible is just a sort of Miss Manners of Emily Post guidebook rather than the inspired word of God.

Do you know what grace is?

Grace is a word that has become so common in many circles that people take it for granted. Many have made it such a part of their Christian vocabulary that they seldom stop to think about how awesome grace really is and what a difference it has made in their lives.

The theologians define it as the unmerited favor of God.
