Nine Proactives to End the War in Iraq and Affect Other Good Changes

Proactives are actions anyone can do to affect anything, including ending the war in Iraq. Electing Democrats did not end the war. Protesting, whining, complaining has not done it in five years and will not in another five years. Each individual citizen must proactively take action, or engage in non-actions, not doing things. Become a proactive part of a non-violent revolution to make things right in this country again.

American antiques history, and since time began, show wise or foolish acts by leaders, and how the effects of actions or decisions made in haste, can cost lives unforeseen. As with King George who listened to none but the birds in his head, or General George who just had to down down into that gulley. Or the incumbent George of the world, who has created more explosions than the other Georges would be thrilled by.

This past weekend I traveled north to St. Charles Illinois. Took the train to downtown Chicago for my wife and daughter to shop, and to visit the museums. Sure doesn't appear to be any lack of people shopping downtown Chicago. If there is a recession ongoing they sure didn't get the memo! One note of interest was the Cook County Board raised sales taxes to the highest in the nation at 10.
