With all the advances in modern technology these days, there is no need to go out for that evening of entertainment, particularly when it comes to gaming, music and films. Many people are dedicating an area of their homes to home entertainment and set up complete evenings when friends visit, bringing popcorn and beer and turn it all into a private 'going out' experience.
What's the state of science fiction on television? I'd have to say overall, just amazing.

Consider some of the shows we have available right now. Battlestar Galactica. Lost. Heroes. So many great shows that have captured the imaginations of people who once may have claimed to have no interest in science fiction.

Okay, so probably some of them still say that.
Doctor Who is a long-running award-winning British science fiction television show developed by the BBC. As a matter of fact Doctor who's the longest-running science fiction television serial in history, airing initially from 1963 to 1989 and then again from 2005 until the time of writing with seasons promised all the way up to 2010!

Doctor Who's 1st ever came out on BBC TV at 5:15 pm (Greenwich Mean Time) on 23 November 1963, after discussions and plans that had been ongoing for a year.
Many home theater enthusiasts are turning to digital projectors for super huge screens, high quality images and making their homes into true theater environments.

Digital projectors are the big thing in home theater entertainment.

Digital projectors have been used in the past primarily for corporate presentations. However, the technology has improved and the price has come down, this has made digital projectors a good choice for creating a true theatre atmosphere in the home.
Back in 1963 when the first episode of Doctor who aired on BBC television in the United Kingdom, who would have thought that this small budget science fiction series would become the longest running science fiction series of all time and eventually have several spin-offs? The success and popularity of Doctor Who over the years has simply been amassing!

Today in all the mayor English speaking countries most people will have at least heard of Doctor Who.
Five months ago, I purchased a new HDTV because my old one finally decided to stop working. I was flipping through my new fancy high definition stations and found A&Es show Intervention.

I have been hooked every since. I think the main reason I am in love with this reality show is that I am a reality show junkie. If the show is about the drama of other people, I will watch it.
My all-time favorite show..."The Sopranos" is a extraordinary drama. I can't tell you how often I live vicariously through the families on this show.

The best part about is that I can observe it in high definition because the high definition station A&E just started running the episodes which used to only be on Home Box Office. The other wonderful thing about it is I don't have to pay anything extra for my high quality picture channels.
I have been trying to convince my aunty for months to give up the antenna on her roof and switch over to satellite. She is not hurting for money and cable television would really help her fill up her day while she is at home taking care of her mother.

She does watch TV but she watches the same channel all day long. I keep informing her of all the cool things about HDTVs and how she could easily change out her old antenna and replace it with a newer antenna, which would give her higher quality pictures, but she won't make the switch.
Awhile back, I bought a new HDTV because my crappy one finally decided to stop working. I was flipping through my new fancy high definition stations and found a cable show called Intervention.

I have been hooked every since. I think the main reason I am in love with this show is that I am a reality show junky. If the show is about the drama of other people, I will watch it.
My grandchildren are constantly watching TV shows over at my house. Ostensibly, my children have forgotten the joys of cartoons and won't let them view much at home.

So every day after school, once they enter my entree, the TV turns on and doesn't turn off until their parents come to pick them up. My grandchildren are my joy and I love to observe them after school.
